Complex Seizure Management
We provide specialised Seizure Management services for participants living with epilepsy or other conditions that result in seizures. Our experienced and compassionate team ensures participants receive the necessary support to manage and reduce the risk of seizures, promoting safety and quality of life.
What is Complex Seizure Management?
Seizure management involves monitoring, supporting, and responding to individuals who experience seizures due to epilepsy or other neurological conditions. Effective management helps prevent injury during seizures and reduces the frequency and severity of episodes through medication and lifestyle adjustments.
Our Approach
Our Seizure Management services are designed with a person-centred approach, ensuring that each participant’s needs are addressed with dignity and care.
All care plans are developed and monitored by a Registered Nurse, ensuring that participants receive personalised care and support tailored to their specific seizure management needs.
These care plans are regularly reviewed, with progress notes prepared every three months and care plan reviews every six months to ensure the effectiveness of the management strategies.
We work closely with participants, their families, and healthcare providers to ensure that seizure management is effective, minimising risks and improving overall well-being.
NDIS Support Category and Code
Our Seizure Management services fall under the NDIS Core Supports category, specifically under High Intensity Daily Personal Activities (NDIS Support Code: 0104).
This category covers the support required for participants with high-risk, complex care needs, including seizure management.
Pricing
Our services are aligned with the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits for High Intensity Daily Personal Activities (Code 0104).
The cost will vary based on the level of care required. Please contact us for a personalised quote based on your NDIS plan and individual needs.
